Thank you to all who participated in the second annual Lion Chase 5k! It was a beautiful day in Coronado with a stunning backdrop to the race. This  year we had 119 racers and raised over $4,000.  The Mayor of Rosarito, Mexico was at the race this year and presented awards to our top male and female finishers as well as shared a bit of what is going on in Rosarito with the crowd.

One thing the Mayor shared that stuck out was that 5 to 6,000 people a year are coming into Rosarito from other Mexican states and South American countries looking for work. These people have nothing and need housing. The proceeds from this race will go to provide housing for some of these families.

Now that you know the need, do something about it. Have Courage to help fight poverty. Come on a trip, sponsor a house, pray for the families Amor will come in contact with.
